SolarChargeX is an autonomous electric vehicle (EV) charging system designed to enhance charging convenience, energy efficiency, and sustainability in parking environments. Unlike conventional fixed chargers, it deploys a mobile robotic charger powered by a solar energy base station, enabling flexible charging delivery directly to vehicles. The system integrates smart vehicle detection, QR-based user booking, autonomous navigation, and automated charging with queue and billing management. Once an EV is identified and a request is made, the robot navigates to the vehicle, connects to the charging port, completes charging, and returns to the solar base station for recharging. SolarChargeX improves accessibility in malls, residential, and public parking areas where fixed infrastructure is limited. It supports SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities).
