Outdoor activities, especially picnics, require multiple essential items such as food storage, tables, and chairs. However, carrying them separately often leads to discomfort and inconvenience. Many outdoor enthusiasts face challenges in managing these essentials, as existing food storage options are often bulky and lack multifunctional features. The absence of a compact and portable 3-in-1 food storage solution significantly reduces the efficiency and comfort of outdoor experiences. This issue is particularly relevant to individuals who enjoy moderate outdoor activities, requiring lightweight, portable, and functional solutions. However, it does not fully address extreme outdoor scenarios. The root causes of this problem include a lack of innovative design in traditional food storage, reliance on outdated materials, and insufficient consideration of user needs such as portability and multi-functionality.

To understand the needs of picnic-goers, observations and interviews were conducted. The observation took place at Pohon Batu Beach, Labuan for 1 week that took around 40 minute per day, while interviews were held with three Labuan Matriculation College students aged 19-20. Findings emphasized the demand for an innovative 3-in-1 food storage unit that can function as a table and chair. To address this, we utilized brainstorming which is through group discussions among the group members and WH questions. The prototype is designed by using Sharp3D which the process took 12 hours over three days (four hours per day). By redefining outdoor experiences with Caparca, this innovation aims to provide a practical, user-friendly, and efficient solution, enhancing comfort and convenience for outdoor enthusiasts.
