The global rise in disabilities poses challenges for travelers. Melaka, Malaysia's Historical City, faces accessibility issues, especially for tourists with impairments. Sign language translation and traffic signal recognition are lacking, hindering communication and safety. Hence, AccessibleMelaka project aims to bridge these gaps with three key modules: Speech to Sign Language, Sign Language to Speech, and Traffic Light Color Detection. Leveraging technology like computer vision and natural language processing, it enhances accessibility during travel, particularly in Melaka. This initiative fosters inclusivity during events like "Visit Malaysia 2025" and "Visit Melaka 2024," fostering a connected and welcoming community by breaking down communication barriers and promoting acceptance of assistive devices.
