The Internet of Things (IoT) is an increasingly popular concept in the era of technological advancement because it allows users to connect to a system online from a distance. In Malaysia, the swiftlet bird's nest industry has grown rapidly since 2008. The country ranks third largest in this industry after Indonesia, contributing 9% to the global market. However, the global demand for swiftlet bird's nest products is about 12,000 metric tons per year, while production across Southeast Asia can only reach 500 metric tons. The current temperature in Malaysia is between 32°C - 35°C, but the optimal temperature for swiftlet nesting is in the range of 25°C - 30°C with relative humidity of 70% and above. To address this challenge, an IoT-based temperature control system for swiftlet farming has been developed to regulate the temperature of swiftlet houses. This system aims to ensure that the temperature and humidity of swiftlet houses are always suitable for swiftlets to produce quality nests. This condition is important for maintaining the breeding process and the survival of swiftlets. The project was developed using the ADDIE model as a project development reference. Test results show that 100% of the analysis can be carried out in real-time. This system uses the IoT platform, Blynk, to monitor temperature and humidity. The system will be activated if the temperature of the swiftlet house exceeds 30°C or if the humidity of the swiftlet house is less than 70%. With this temperature control system, the quality of swiftlet nest harvesting can be improved, opening up export opportunities and expanding markets. Emphasis is also placed on the circuit design and usage of this system to ensure user safety. In the future, researchers intend to improve the function of calculating the number of swiftlets at one time to accurately analyze the amount of swiftlet nest production throughout the year.
