EcoCup introduces a biodegradable alternative to single-use plastic cups, addressing the escalating environmental crisis of plastic pollution. Utilizing recycled paper as the primary material, the production process involves transforming soaked paper into pulp and combining it with a natural flour-based binder. This mixture is molded and sun-dried to create a functional, sturdy vessel. Results demonstrate that the EcoCup effectively holds liquid and decomposes naturally in soil. By repurposing waste into sustainable consumer goods, this project offers a practical, eco-friendly innovation that reduces landfill contributions and promotes environmentally responsible practices in the food and beverage industry.
