INTRODUCTION : Bio-Pengesan Glukosa Berasaskan Tumbuhan is a product that can detect the presence of glucose in a liquid. This product was created to help the community detect diabetes that may be encountered without realizing it. This product is also made from organic materials that are very easy to obtain. The method of use is also very simple and efficient which allows all levels of society to use it. OBJECTIVE : The purpose of our product is to provide an affordable and accessible glucose testing method for all levels of society. METHODOLOGY : To begin, choose pandan leaves that are dark green, fresh, and free of damage. Then, wash them thoroughly with clean water to remove any dust and dirt. Next, cut the leaves into small pieces (1–2 cm) to make the extraction process easier. After that, place the pieces into a blender and add clean water before blending until the mixture becomes smooth and forms a concentrated green extract. Once blended, strain the mixture using a coffee filter, and gently squeeze it to obtain a more concentrated pandan extract. Finally, store the extract in a glass container or a small sterile bottle. With these steps completed, our project, Glucoleaf, is successfully prepared. RESULT : After completing the extraction process, a concentrated pandan extract was successfully produced. When tested with different liquids, the extract showed a noticeable colour change in samples containing glucose, indicating the presence of sugar. Liquids without glucose displayed little to no change, proving that the pandan-based indicator can differentiate between glucose-containing and glucose-free solutions. Overall, the results demonstrate that our product, Glucoleaf, functions effectively as a simple, natural, and affordable glucose detection tool. CONCLUSION :This product shows that GlucoLeaf works effectively as a natural glucose detector using plant-based extracts. The color change that occurs when the extract reacts with glucose helps indicate high sugar levels in a simple and safe way. This low-cost and eco-friendly method promotes early health awareness and encourages the use of natural materials in science and daily life.
