As we are heading toward the avant garde, there are many issues that keep rising globally. Food waste is also one of the current global issue in our generation. As per the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, 1.3 billion tons of leftovers are wasted around the globe each year. In Malaysia, roughly 17,000 victuals waste are discarded every day as indicate by Solid Waste and Public Cleansing Management. This is obviously are against the Sustainable Development Goals or also known as SDG aim 12.3 which to halve global per capita food waste and SDG 12.5 that targeting by 2030, substantially reduce waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling, and reuse. Therefore, we come to the conclusion that an act is needed to be taken regarding this issue. After a few brainstorming sessions, an idea to make a good use of the food waste crossed our thoughts. Hence, we take this initiative to make products from the fish residues of the Fish Product (Keropok) factory, since the degradation of Keropok is one of the main industries of Mersing. This is as our contribution to the implementation of SDG aim 12.3 and 12.5 and also provide us with the opportunity to make money through this activity.
