JIN1067: STUDY OF WASTE WATER TREATMENT

DIINES A/L SELVAM SJK T METHODIST KAPAR

This project presents a simple innovation for waste water treatment using natural and low-cost materials such as salt, rocks, sand, cotton, and charcoal. The model works as a layered filtration system, where each material plays a role in removing impurities. Rocks and sand help filter large and small particles, cotton traps fine dirt, and charcoal absorbs odors, color, and harmful substances. Salt can assist in basic disinfection. The experiment demonstrates how easily available materials can improve water quality. This innovation highlights an eco-friendly, affordable, and practical approach suitable for educational purposes and small-scale water purification.
