Excessive noise can be disturbing in certain sensitive places such as in a Library. In library at my school, students should be kept quiet or make sure noise at the minimum level. However, it is quite challenge for librarian to monitor all the students in a library. In this project, I develop a “Noise Level Detector for Library”. The project is based on Microbit microcontroller that connected to sound sensor and piezo buzzer. The sound sensor will measure the noise level from library environment and the Microbit will check whether it surpass the threshold noise level in library. If it surpass the threshold level, the Mircrobit will turn on the piezo buzzer sound and LED will display “X”. To programme the Microbit we are using makecode. This project help the librarian in SK Jalan Datuk Palembang to make sure library environment level noise at minimum level.
