RainBuddy is a smart rain alert and automated clothes protection system tailored for residents living in high-rise apartments and others who dry clothes in partially sheltered spaces. It detects rain, alerts the user through visual, sound, and real-time smartphone notifications. Besides, it automatically lowers a waterproof sheet to cover the clothes. This project aims to offer a smart and accessible solution that responds automatically to unexpected rainfall. The ultimate goal is to protect laundry in a timely and efficient manner while reducing household inconvenience and promoting smarter, more sustainable living.
