This project explores the development of handmade toothpaste using natural ingredients to promote oral health. Primary students combined baking soda, salt, coconut oil, and mint extract to create a chemical-free alternative to commercial toothpaste. They tested its effectiveness by brushing their teeth and comparing the results with store-bought toothpaste. Observations showed that the handmade toothpaste helped clean teeth and provided a refreshing feeling. Through this activity, students learned about the benefits of natural ingredients, the importance of oral hygiene, and basic scientific principles. The project encouraged creativity, hands-on learning, and awareness of eco-friendly personal care products.
