Sugar Shield application addresses the growing problem of undiagnosed diabetes in Malaysia by developing an AI-powered mobile app for early risk prediction. Using machine learning, the app analyzes user input, such as age, BMI, and glucose level, to predict diabetes risk (low, medium, high) and offer simple health advice. Designed using MIT App Inventor, the tool is accessible, user-friendly, and promotes early awareness in underserved communities. The project follows Microsoft’s AI for Good principles, ensuring fairness, privacy, and inclusiveness. This innovative approach empowers individuals to take proactive steps toward their health and demonstrates AI’s potential to solve real-world problems.
