Glue made from Polystyrene using D-Limonene from orange peels is a movement to save the earth from polystyrene waste. World is filled up with 30% of polystyrene waste as its widely used in different industries especially food-service industry as trays and containers, cutlery, and foamed cups, plates, and bowls. (Editors of Encyclopaedia Britanica,2023) MJSC Parit became the subject for this research. Expanded polystyrene makes a better glue with DLimonene. This project consists three parts. First, making of D-Limonene from orange peels using simple distillation process for 20 minutes. The D-Limonene will be extracted from water using syringe. Then, Making of glue which is mixing D-Limonene with Polystyrene and was conducted using expanded polystyrene block. Finally, the glue that was produced was applied onto woodblock to test its strength and alcohol applied on the surface before the glue was applied. Strength of glue is tested by drop test.
