This project introduces an AI-powered marine waste segregation system, employing machine vision to address the pressing environmental challenges posed by marine plastic pollution and public littering. By automating the segregation process, the system facilitates the accurate sorting of recyclable materials, directly reducing marine litter. The portable, IoT-enabled design enables real-time monitoring and data collection. Following a meticulous analysis of existing literature, the system's components were developed and cohesively integrated, culminating in a unified operating unit. Subsequent rigorous testing and parameter optimization yielded a system capable of delivering high-precision waste segregation, representing a significant advancement in ecological conservation efforts.
