Sustainable agriculture requires an innovative approach in soil nutrient management to meet the needs of crops and reduce the impact on the environment. One of the approaches being studied is the utilization of easily degradable organic materials, such as coffee grounds, banana peels, and eggshells, to produce nutrient-rich fertilizers. This study investigated the potential use of this organic waste as a source of nutrients in the production of environmentally friendly fertilizers. coffee grounds contain high nitrogen, while banana skins contain potassium, calcium, and magnesium, while eggshells contain calcium and phosphorus that are important for plant growth. Composition and fermentation methods have been used to transform this organic waste into fertilizer that is easily absorbed by plants. The results of the study show that fertilizers derived from coffee grounds, banana peels, and eggshells can increase the availability of nutrients in the soil and increase plant growth. In addition, the use of this organic waste also helps to reduce environmental pollution through the recycling of organic materials that were previously discarded. In conclusion, the utilization of nutrient-based fertilizers from coffee grounds, banana peels, and eggshells has great potential in supporting sustainable agriculture by providing nutrients needed by plants while reducing organic waste and negative impact on the environment. Further studies are needed to strengthen the effectiveness and practical application of this approach in modern agriculture.
