JIN768: BLUE PELLETS

SRI THIRUMURUGAAN NAIDU A/L SAKTHISWARAN SJK(T) LADANG EMERALD

Farmers or home gardens today often depend on chemical fertilizers to grow plants, but over time, these can damage the soil and harm the environment. At the same time, large amounts of seafood shell waste and coconut husk (cocoa peat) are simply thrown away. Our innovation aims to solve both problems by turning them into useful bio-fertilizer pellets that are safe and sustainable. Eco-friendly fertilizers do exist, but they are often too expensive or difficult to use. There’s a need for cheaper, cleaner, and more natural options that can also help reduce agricultural. Our main objective is to create a sustainable, low-cost, and easy-to-use fertilizer. Our main concept is to turn the waste like shrimp, crap shell and cocoa peat into small and eco-friendly pellets. Here is the simple version of our procedure: clean, boil, and sun-dry seafood shells, crush them into powder, mix with dried cocoa peat, neem and a natural binder (starch). Lastly, form into small pellets and dry. This fertilizer helps improve soil health, keep it moist, reduces the need for chemicals, controls pests naturally, supports zero-waste and eco-friendly farming. This idea turns local waste into useful fertilizer, making farming more sustainable and affordable.
