With the advancement of current technology, teaching and learning (T&L) approaches are no longer entirely reliant on conventional methods; instead, they require the integration of modern educational technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR), interactive simulations, game-based learning, and the use of mobile devices. This technology integration aims to enhance student engagement and assist in understanding abstract and complex concepts. Therefore, this study aims to develop an AR-based module and mobile application for the topic of Systems in the Design subject, and to evaluate the usability of the SystemAR application among teachers in terms of functionality, content, application design, and user satisfaction. This study is a development study using the ADDIE Model with a qualitative approach through interviews involving five expert teachers. The study findings show that SystemAR has high usability, with 88% for interactive teaching aids, 100% for the effectiveness of AR elements and 3D visualisation, 100% for user-friendly design, 70% for alignment with the DSKP (Curriculum and Assessment Standards Document), and 85.7% for high user satisfaction and acceptance levels. In conclusion, SystemAR has the potential to be widely used as a robust and effective learning medium for students.
