Water is essential to keeping our body functioning properly and feeling healthy. However, our survey data and web research indicate that most kids don't drink enough water. Dehydration can cause moodiness, low energy, and a host of other problems. Lack of awareness and being busy with their daily routine make them not drink enough water. To address this problem, we created this product to encourage kids to drink plenty of water. The Smart Water Bottle (SWB), which comes with a smart system, is intended to encourage children to drink water on a regular basis. The components used in this system include an Arduino, a waterproof ultrasonic sensor, a buzzer, and LEDs. The Arduino is managing the buzzer and LEDs. Meanwhile, the ultrasonic sensor is used to determine the water level. This method encourages students to stay hydrated throughout the day by lighting up a red LED when the bottle is full of water and beeping every ten minutes. When the water level reaches halfway, the yellow LED lights up. This pattern continues until the water level is almost at the bottom. At that point, the yellow LED switches to green, and the buzzer beeps every 5 minutes to prompt students to refill the bottle. This systematic and kid-friendly designed SWB has triggered kids’ interest in consuming enough water each day, which boosts their energy levels and concentration while studying. In conclusion, the SWB represents a significant advancement in promoting children's hydration through innovative technology.
