Each product produced is intended to meet the requirements of the actual objective of the project. The product that wants to be produced also needs to be improved from time to time according to its suitability for use. A variety of designs produced according to the wishes of Butterworth Vocational College machining students have problems holding the workpiece. One of the problems encountered is holding cylindrical workpieces in the milling machine. The existing v-block holder can only hold one workpiece at a time. Based on the problem, the idea was born to create a project to hold a cylindrical workpiece in a milling machine so that it can facilitate industrial machining students of Butterworth Vocational College to hold a cylindrical workpiece easily and is expected to save students' time. The result of the idea of the name given to the project is Smart Vice V-Block, it can hold more workpieces in one work process and is faster and makes the work process easier. Smart Vice V-Block is suitable for industrial machining students of Butterworth Vocational College. The process involved in manufacturing this product has been explained in chapter 3 which is the methodological chapter. The chapter also explains about the methods and planning in the implementation of the implemented project. Therefore, the results of the study are also touched upon in depth in chapter 4 which is the findings and analysis. Next, is a discussion about chapter 5.
