SkillBridge is a mobile, AI-enabled platform that tackles four chronic weaknesses in Malaysia’s TVET hiring: opaque standards, repetitive forms, slow one-way feedback and résumé overload for SMEs. A unified workflow standardises résumés, ranks vacancies with TF-IDF plus cosine semantic matching and embeds real-time chat, all within an accessible swipe interface. Built in fortnightly agile sprints, the prototype is delivered through a Docker-based CI/CD pipeline that automatically tests each commit. Hallway tests show smoother interactions and quicker candidate sorting. Upcoming work will add transformer matching, multilingual UI and rural pilot studies to validate employment gains and wider SME cost savings downstream.
