Food consumption is essential for energy, each individual generates about 174.5 kilograms of food waste annually. Globally, approximately 1.3 billion tons of food waste is produced each year. Improper disposal of food waste can degrades air quality and contributes to ozone layer depletion .To address this issue, FeryPoWd was developed. This innovative product transforms compost made from food waste into biodegradable pots .FeryPoWd aims to mitigate the negative impacts of food waste at the same time it also helps in reducing the use of polybags and chemical fertilizers in the agricultural sector. This biodegradable pot is completely made out of natural, environmentally friendly ingredients such as orange peels, onion skin, egg shells, and tapioca starch .FeryPoWd also use blended egg cartons for it reinforcement. From the test conducted, it was proven that FeryPoWd is able to store 35% of water so that the plant always has a supply of water. Besides, this product also able to accommodate a total of 1500 g of load and can survive in high temperatures. The observation also has been done to observe the plant growth in FeryPoWd and it showed a positive impact. Eventually, this elevates the chances of FeryPoWd being successful and the first choice of the farmers out there to provide their best to their plant seedlings. Overall, this biodegradable pot encourages the corporate agricultural sectors to reduce and be less reliant on polybags and chemical fertilizers which has proven to be harmful to the environment. This coincides with promoting the application of natural substances in daily life and environmental sustainability.
