The development of the Community Development Model (CoDeM) to support the adoption of service-learning methodology provides new innovative in students’ experience. This model provides a systematic process on how to conduct a community project not only based on volunteerism but also includes reflection for students. It embeds a quadruple helix strategy to enhance students experience in solving real-life issues which involve the government agencies, university as learning institutions, community at target together with the industry player involvement. The model also highlights the need for a reflection from students to assess their experience and providing insight for future improvements.
