EcoAI Recycler is an educational innovation that integrates machine learning, mobile application development, and sustainability education to enhance AI literacy among primary school students. In this project, students collect images of recyclable materials and train a machine learning model to classify items into three categories: metal, glass, and plastic. The trained model is then integrated into a mobile application, allowing users to capture images and receive automatic recycling classifications. This project promotes computational thinking, environmental awareness, and digital innovation skills among students. By engaging learners in authentic problem solving, EcoAI Recycler demonstrates how artificial intelligence can empower young learners to address real-world environmental challenges.
