MIRZA IRDINA BINTI MAZLAN MRSM MERSING
For a hostel student, of course, many desires and needs cannot be obtained due to security, regulatory, and logistical factors. Adjust, we Solve the problem by creating a system named "SOLVER" to make it easier for students to obtain items that are not sold in school cooperatives. The system is developed on a web-based basis where students can order items offered on the web and can also order customized ones. The items that can be ordered include personal hardware, learning equipment, and also food and beverages. We charge a service cost of RM2 for each item ordered. Instead of using applications such as Food Panda, GRAB etc, we provide this website especially for hostel students because it's much cheaper than the delivery service provided by the entrepreneurs outside. For information, we have offered over 30 food and beverage menus. This particular project could successfully offer evaluative strategies for all the boarding schools and complete level 9 of Technology Readiness Level (TRL). The impact of this project is, helping the students get their necessities cheaply and quickly. Second, to ease the task of teachers and parents in meeting the needs of students. Thirdly, this project trains students to use ICT technology in the next problem-solving process to generate revenue through existing technology. Lastly, this project has helped generate local economies through these activities. Following the aim of SDG 8.2, which is to achieve higher levels of economic productivity through diversification, technological upgrading and innovation. This project has proven there’s a way to achieve it through decent work and economic growth. In order to make sure our aims are achieved, we are focusing more on SDG 8.2.
