The R.O.S.E. System stands for Recognizing, Operating, and Scanning Equipment or Machines. This project presents an innovative solution that utilizes QR codes to simplify the identification and operation of office or workshop equipment. By scanning these codes, users can instantly access detailed information, including equipment identification and operating instructions based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), available in multiple languages—Malay, English, Mandarin, and Arabic. The project aims to enhance language proficiency, promote the adoption of digital technology, and minimize clutter caused by excessive printed information on equipment. It addresses common challenges such as difficulty in identifying equipment and the time-consuming process of searching for relevant information. Overall, the ROSE System contributes to cost savings, supports environmental sustainability, and improves user understanding, interaction, and engagement with the equipment.
