This project presents the development of an augmented reality (AR) application aimed at promoting sustainable fashion by encouraging communities to recycle and upcycle fabrics into upcycled clothing. Using the Unity 2021.3.0f1 software, the application allows users to scan real-life recycled materials and visualize them transformed into ready-made clothing through an immersive AR experience. The development process includes user interface design, coding, and testing to ensure the functionality of the application works. The AR application enables users to witness the transformation of recycled fabrics into fashionable attire, fostering a sense of creativity and responsibility within the community. By supporting Sustainable Development Goal 11, which emphasizes sustainable cities and communities, the application contributes to minimizing fabric waste and promoting environmentally conscious practices. The interface facilitates easy navigation and is even suitable for young children. By targeting the younger generation, the application aims to instill values of sustainable living and responsible consumption. Through this innovative AR technology, communities are enticed to actively participate in recycling and upcycling initiatives, thereby reducing the environmental impact of fashion production.
