Breathing is a very important process that happens in our body every day. It helps us take in oxygen and remove carbon dioxide. This process has two main parts: inhalation (breathing in) and exhalation (breathing out). When we breathe in, our chest goes up and
we take in air that has more oxygen. When we breathe out, our chest goes down and we release air that has more carbon dioxide.
Our team, Str4v The Young Great Scientist from SJK(T) Rawang, wanted to study and show how the breathing process works. We explained the difference between the air we breathe in and the air we breathe out. We also did a simple activity. One person lies down
on a mat, and we place a book on their chest. As they breathe, we can see the book moving up and down. This shows how the chest moves during breathing. This activity helps us understand how our lungs and chest work together. It also gave us the idea to create something that can help people watch their chest movements and understand their breathing better. This knowledge is useful not only in science but also in taking care of our health and body.
