Our research addresses key challenges in the construction sector, proposing a sustainable solution with thermoplastic-styrofoam-natural reinforcement floor panels. Tailored for rural areas with wooden floors, these panels enhance insulation, float during floods, resist water absorption, and promote environmental sustainability. Manufacturing involves dissolving Styrofoam in acetone, blending it with rice husk ashes and sand, molding, and naturally drying it, significantly reducing energy consumption. Tests confirm zero water absorption, durability at 3.13%, low thermal absorption, buoyancy under load, pressure strength of 145 N m-2, and a lightweight design. This innovative construction method repurposes recycled plastic waste, reducing environmental impact without cement use.
