Inspired by the critical demand for resilient UAV localization and navigation systems, particularly in scenarios where the susceptibility of GPS to jamming poses a significant threat, this pioneering method adopts LoRa technology and triangulation. Operating at 915MHz with a robust 14dBm signal transmission, the system employs Arduino and LoRa transceivers for precise triangulation based on Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) data. Addressing the pressing need for reliability in military, civilian surveillance, and disaster response scenarios, this innovative approach, offering an operational range of up to 24km and requiring a 3.3V DC input for microcontrollers, transforms UAV navigation without relying on traditional GPS dependencies.
