THE ‘MATH WARRIOR 2.0’ GAME HELPS IMPROVE THE UNDERSTANDING OF LINEAR EQUATIONS OF ONE VARIABLE IN MATHEMATICS FORM 1 ABSTRACT This ‘MATH WARRIOR 2.0’ game highlights the topic of Mathematics which is the solution of linear equations with a unknown variable. The game is designed to be played by individual or team and able to improve their understanding of the representation of variable. This game has an interesting element because it involves the speed and repeatability of the game with questions from easy, medium or challenging levels. Players act a character who got absorbed into an unknown world with math monsters. Players must use their math knowledge to defeat every enemy. Every enemy defeated will give the players a reward and proceed to the next level. Problem statement is students tend to get bored and lose focus during class. The ‘MATH WARRIOR’ game allows students to constantly calculate and thinking, improving the function of the left brain. The ‘MATH WARRIOR’ game fulfils the content standard Dokumen Standard Kurikulum Pentaksiran (DSKP) since the game is made as a fun learning activity.
