INNOVATION : ECORICKS
ABSTRACT:
ECORICKS is a type of brick produced from recycled plastic (60%), used cooking oil (10%), and sand (30%). ECORICKS can also be used as cement to pave classroom floors or patch corridor walkways with holes, serving as a substitute for conventional bricks. Furthermore, one of the advantages of this product is its lower production cost compared to conventional bricks. Based on laboratory tests conducted at UiTM Shah Alam, we found that the strength of ECORICKS bricks is higher than that of conventional bricks. This means that ECORICKS is more durable, of higher quality, and environmentally friendly.
