Team The Lab Rats created a fun and educational straw rocket project using simple materials like a plastic bottle, small and big straws, modelling clay, tape, and cardboard. We inserted a small straw into the bottle, secured it with clay, and sealed one end of a big straw with tape. Then we added cardboard fins for stability and placed the big straw over the small one. By squeezing the bottle, we launched the rocket using air pressure. Air pressure creates force that can launch objects. This project taught us how air can create force to make objects fly, and we had a great time working together and learning that even small things can achieve big results. We had so much fun designing, building, and launching our straw rocket. Most of all, we learned the power of teamwork and creativity.
