The topic of rounding is part of the Mathematics syllabus for Year 4 and Year 5. In this topic, students often face difficulties in expressing or performing number rounding. When solving rounding problems, students need to apply various strategies to remember the concept of adding one or zero in order to arrive at the correct rounded value.

The innovation "Rounding Up Numerous Plus One Plus Zero" was developed to make it easier for students to perform rounding operations by using a color-coded addition concept.

The use of this innovation encourages students to be more active during teaching and learning sessions (PdPc), helps prevent confusion, and makes lessons more engaging and enjoyable. It also enables students to achieve learning objectives more easily, master the topic, and obtain better scores in assessments.

Furthermore, it can help improve the overall quality of learning in the classroom. It is hoped that this innovation can also benefit Mathematics teachers and students across Malaysia.
