Virtual Booth

This project implements a smart door lock system using Verifiable Credentials (VC) for secure and decentralized guest access. Through the Smart Homestay app, homestay owners can easily issue VCs to guests upon booking. Guests present the VC as a QR code on their phones, eliminating the need to carry physical cards or keys. At the door, the system verifies the VC based on the issuer’s signature, expiry date, and house identification; if valid, the door unlocks automatically. This enhances security, simplifies access management, and streamlines the check-in process for both guests and owners.
