This project develops a prototype of smart space vacancy system with child presence detector operated by Arduino multi-controller. Arduino multi-controller equipped with IR sensors is used to detect the parking space vacancy availability and the specific available slot is displayed on LCD. Microwave motion sensors are used to detect child movement inside the parked vehicles. Buzzer and LED will activate when the sensors detect any movement inside the parked vehicles in the parking space. This project is part of community efforts in reducing children left in cars incidents and at the same time contributes to more efficient parking system.
