However, by using an automated system that optimizes the use of electricity in light switches, electricity wastage in schools caused by idle electrical appliances has been prevented. By having a sensor which will detect any movement or presence of humans in the room, electrical appliances will only be turned on whenever there is someone present in the room. This automated system provides schools an efficient way to consume electricity and reduce cost in terms of electricity bills, giving schools a lighter financial burden. Moreover, this system can help schools take another step towards going green and make a dent in this ongoing global warming crisis.
