Diarrhea is a common health issue often caused by bacterial infections, viruses, or food poisoning. This study introduces CoalCal Herb Care, an innovative diarrhea treatment product made from charcoal derived from oil palm fronds and eggshells. Oil palm fronds are chosen for their high cellulose and lignin content, while eggshells provide calcium carbonate, enhancing the activation process of the charcoal. The raw materials are cleaned, dried, and processed through high-temperature pyrolysis, followed by chemical activation to maximize adsorption capacity. Initial tests show that CoalCal Herb Care effectively absorbs toxins and helps relieve diarrhea symptoms. This product offers a natural, eco-friendly alternative while promoting the sustainable use of agro-industrial waste.
