Virtual Booth

Our project aims to make sorting systems accessible for everyday use, aligning with SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure. Unlike large-scale industrial systems, we present a beginner-friendly indoor sorter that categorizes objects based on size, weight, color, and more using machine learning. The system features three main components: customizable categories through Teachable Machine (without the need for programming), sensing with a conveyor belt and webcam, and sorting with a Ferris wheel-style cabinet powered by Raspberry Pi and a stepper motor. This space-saving solution is ideal for smaller environments and can serve a variety of purposes, including in family businesses.
