This project presents the development of VentiSafe, an automatic ventilation system based on the MQ2 smoke sensor specifically designed to detect the presence of smoke in enclosed spaces. The main objective of this project is to enhance safety levels by providing early warning and automatically activating the ventilation system when smoke concentration exceeds hazardous levels. The system is developed using an ESP32 microcontroller, relay, 12V DC fan, and buzzer, fully controlled via digital signal processing from the MQ2 sensor. Through conducted tests, the system has proven to function effectively in detecting smoke and providing fast response for ventilation and sound alert. VentiSafe not only reduces the risk of suffocation or fainting due to smoke but also has the potential to save lives in emergencies such as minor fires. This project also supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), by introducing an affordable technological approach towards a safer environment.
