This project explores the fascinating intersection of science, sustainability, and creativity through the creation of wax-based colour sticks (crayons) using natural dyes derived from plants and food sources. This study explores the development of organic crayons using beeswax and carnauba wax as primary binding agents. These materials are biodegradable, non-toxic, and safe for children. The study highlights the challenges of conventional crayons, such as their reliance on petrochemical derivatives, and investigates the effectiveness of combining natural waxes with plant-based pigments. Results show that the organic crayons are a viable alternative, offering vibrant colors, durability, and environmental sustainability.
