The Smart Energy Saver is an innovative, IoT-enabled system developed to minimize unnecessary energy consumption by providing users with convenient, centralized control over lighting systems. Built on an ESP32 microcontroller and a capacitive touch switch module, the system enables the operation of four lights with minimal energy waste. It uses a low-power touch interface, offering a modern alternative to mechanical switches while enhancing user interaction and aesthetics.
Each light is connected via a relay module controlled by the ESP32. The system is also compatible with wireless connectivity for future integration with smartphone apps or voice assistants. The project combines practicality, affordability, and sustainability, and was implemented in a real-world environment (e.g., classroom or home setup). This energy-saving innovation empowers users to take control of their electrical usage, contributing to environmental conservation and cost efficiency.
