Abstract
Bee Smart AI is an innovative mobile application designed to enhance English language learning for students, particularly in rural and multilingual environments. By integrating AI-powered spelling, pronunciation, and translation tools, the app offers personalized, interactive learning experiences. The application supports 16 languages, providing multilingual scaffolding and real-time feedback. Developed using a design-based research methodology, Bee Smart AI incorporates educational theories such as Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Cognitive Load Theory. Initial pilot testing indicates significant improvements in spelling, pronunciation, and student engagement, making Bee Smart AI an effective and scalable tool for modernizing language education.
