The Escalator Waiter is an innovation that introduces technological elements and efficiency in serving dishes in the culinary industry. By utilizing a conveyor belt system, the Escalator Waiter can lift dishes from the kitchen to the dining area without direct human intervention. Designed to enhance operational efficiency, the Escalator Waiter minimizes customer waiting time through automated food delivery, resulting in faster and more responsive service. Additionally, the project explores aspects of reducing order errors, relying on technology to ensure each dish reaches the customer's table as ordered, reducing the likelihood of mistakes by restaurant staff in multi-level delivery. The impact on the customer experience is a primary focus of this project. The use of the Escalator Waiter not only improves efficiency but also creates a unique dining experience. Customers can witness their dishes ascending via the Escalator Waiter, adding entertainment and innovation to the dining experience. The project was instructed in Besut Vocational College with a sample size of 30 students, consisting of Electrical Technology and Culinary Arts Diploma students. Data collection was done using questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis results indicate that respondents agree with the suitability of using the Escalator Waiter in multi-level restaurants. Overall, this project provides a comprehensive view of how the Escalator Waiter not only enhances kitchen operations but also improves the customer experience, aligning the culinary industry with the latest trends in technological innovation.
