VETRI LINGGESWARAN SJKT JALAN YAHYA AWAL
Brainy Math Battle is a creative and interactive educational game developed by students Vetri, Roshan, and Tanisha from SJKT Jalan Yahya Awal. This innovative project aims to make learning mathematics fun, engaging, and hands-on for young learners. The game is built using recycled materials promoting sustainability while encouraging creativity.
The game combines physical activity with academic learning to enhance motor skills, sensory development, and cognitive abilities. Students roll ping pong balls into numbered sections, identify larger and smaller numbers, and use gloves to count and calculate. Ice cream sticks with number words help improve English literacy as players match numbers with their correct spellings.
To add a technological edge, the game uses infrared (IR) sensors and an Arduino system. The IR sensor detects the ball’s movement and sends data to display the correct number on a screen, making the game more interactive and immersive. Students then manually input the numbers, reinforcing number recognition and typing skills.
