This study explores the effectiveness of retrofitting angled structures onto seawalls to mitigate wave overtopping. Three retrofits with varying inclination angles were installed on a vertical seawall using chengal wood coated with a protective layer. The angled designs aim to redirect and dissipate wave energy before impact. Experimental results indicate that specific angles significantly reduce overtopping volumes, highlighting the importance of retrofit geometry in enhancing coastal resilience.
