In daily life, people often forget to turn off lights or fans before leaving home, leading to energy wastage and potential fire hazards. Our Qiqloo project introduces a smart device designed to be installed within a standard wall switch box, enabling real-time monitoring and control of electrical appliances such as lights and fans. Powered by the ESP32 microcontroller and integrated with the HLW8012 sensor, the device accurately measures current and power consumption. Data is transmitted via WiFi to the Blynk mobile app, allowing users to remotely check and manage appliance status through their smartphones. With a compact, heat-resistant, and user-friendly design, Qiqloo aims to improve household energy efficiency, enhance electrical safety, and raise awareness of daily power usage.
