This innovation aims to develop an automatic rain detection system that provides early alerts for sudden weather changes. Due to climate change, unpredictable rainfall has become more frequent, affecting daily activities such as drying clothes and protecting outdoor items. Therefore, a simple, low-cost, and practical solution is needed. This project utilizes a rain sensor connected to a microcontroller system to detect water droplets. Once rain is detected, the system activates indicators such as an LED and a buzzer to alert users immediately. The prototype, designed in the form of a miniature house, demonstrates its real-life application. Testing results show that the system responds within 2 to 3 seconds with consistent and reliable performance. This innovation helps users reduce inconvenience and minor losses while promoting efficient daily management. Furthermore, it supports Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 13: Climate Action and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities) by encouraging smart and adaptive living. Overall, this system has strong potential for further development into a practical and user-friendly commercial product.
