GreenSort AI is an intelligent waste sorting system that improves recycling efficiency using artificial intelligence and automation. This project repurposes an old webcam as a vision sensor to detect waste through object detection in PictoBlox. The system identifies materials such as metal, plastic, and paper, and a microcontroller activates a servo motor to sort them into the correct containers. It helps reduce manual effort, minimize errors, and promote proper waste disposal. Its main function is to automatically detect, classify, and sort waste in real time, providing a low-cost and eco-friendly solution for smarter waste management.
