EcoSprout is an environmental innovation project that focuses on transforming common classroom waste into a sustainable planting solution. This project uses discarded pencil shavings and recycled paper to create biodegradable seed balls that support plant growth while reducing waste.

The process begins by soaking used paper in water and blending it into soft pulp. Pencil shavings are then mixed with the paper pulp to form a smooth and consistent mixture. Seeds such as mustard and coriander are added before shaping the mixture into small balls without excess water. The seed balls are dried under sunlight and later planted in soil. When watered, the balls naturally decompose, enriching the soil and allowing the seeds to germinate and grow.

This innovation promotes environmental awareness, recycling practices, and sustainable planting among students. It demonstrates how simple school waste materials can be creatively reused to produce eco-friendly products that support greenery and help reduce environmental pollution.
