NAYLA SARA BINTI NAZRI SK MARIAN CONVENT IPOH

Abstract
The Marian Nutri-pot Water Guard Cat Robo is an innovative sustainable agriculture system developed to address food security, environmental sustainability, and efficient water management through eco-friendly practices. The project was inspired by global challenges following the COVID-19 pandemic, which highlighted the importance of food security and sustainable food production. Conventional chemical fertilizers contribute to greenhouse gas emissions and environmental pollution; therefore, this innovation promotes the use of natural and recycled materials as environmentally friendly alternatives for plant growth.

The Marian Nutri-pot Water Guard Cat Robo integrates a self-watering planting system with organic fertilizers and natural pesticides produced from recycled organic waste. The system consists of four main components: Marian Organic Compost Fertilizer (Marian OrCof), planting media, water-based organic fertilizer (Marian OrF), and Marian Organic Pesticides (Marian OrPest), all made from 100% recycled and natural materials. The water guard system helps regulate water supply, reduce water wastage, and ensure consistent plant growth.

This innovation supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 12 by promoting responsible consumption and production through recycling and sustainable agriculture. It also contributes to SDG 3 by promoting healthier living environments and access to organic food. Additionally, it serves as an educational tool that provides hands-on learning about sustainability, organic farming, and environmental conservation.
